When the mod came out, some people were not happy and accused a modder of taking an easy way out with silly cheats but, all in all, this mod is a great tool if you are tired of Fallout puzzles that are repeating themselves throughout the whole game. After some time, these puzzles get annoying for the players, especially ones who replayed the game multiple times and don’t want to waste time on boring puzzles. There are a lot, and I mean a lot of different puzzles a player needs to solve before even getting into a computer.

This mod gives the players a great choice of battle gear and, at the same time, free-roaming suits that are diverse and suitable for Fallout lore. "I chose to burn high tier mods to give me (unmodded) end game equivalent weapons 30% of the game sooner" is a conscious decision you made about what stage of the game you needed to burn a limited resource for a power gain. nothing about these decisions make any sense to me.
then to put the icing on the cake, you remove the ability to have a chance to remove a mod from a weapon like we had in wasteland 2.
some of my games, i only found and field scrapped a single red range scope, that is beyond stupid.
alternatively you can use your high end mods early on, and make some great mid tier weapons, but then as you find weapons that are supposed to be upgrades, they are no longer really upgrades, cause your other weapons have mods on them that make them comparable. how could you test play through the game, and think that a system that compels you to never use the high tier mods, because you probably wont find another one, so better not waste it on some low to mid tier weapon is a good idea.
